Pengaruh Perceived Organizational Support Terhadap Affective Commitment Dengan Work Engagement Sebagai Mediasi Pada Karyawan Daima Hotel Kota Padang

Persepsi karyawan percaya bahwa mereka dihargai oleh perusahaan tempat mereka bekerja yang dikenal dengan perceived organizational support. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana perceived organizational support dapat mempengaruhi commitment affective pada karyawan Daima Hotel Kota Padang, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana work engagement berindak sebagai penghubung antara perceived organizational support dan affective commitment. Studi ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif,analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perceived organizational support secara positif dan signifikan dapat mempengaruhi affective commitment. Saat seseorang merasa bahwa organisasi memberikan dukungan, maka loyalitas mereka akan meningkat. Selain itu, perceived organizational support tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap work engagement, work engagement berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap affective commitment dan work engagement tidak signifikan dalam memediasi pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap affective commitment. Studi ini didukung oleh Social Exchange Theory (SET) yang menjelaskan adanya pertukaran yang diatur dalam hubungan timbal-balik, perusahaan di tuntut untuk memberikan dukungan terhadap karyawannya sehingga karyawan akan membalasnya dengan keterikatan dan keterlibatan serta meningkatkan komitmen.
