Abstract

Keterikatan dengan pekerjaan menjadi hal penting bagi seorang individu yang bekerja di sebuah organisasi tidak terkecuali pada organisasi publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji seberapa besar kelelahan kerja yang dirasakan Pegawai, serta seberapa penting hal ini dapat mempengaruhi keterikatan kerja dari Pegawai dinas perhubungan Kabupaten Bandung. Desain penelitian kuantitatif digunakan pada studi ini, dengan unit analisisnya adalah pegawai yang bekerja pada Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bandung. Sampling ditentukan secara non-acak, dengan sebanyak 46 pegawai yang bertindak sebagai responden pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga dimensi kelelahan kerja yang dirasakan terungkap bahwa kelelahan emosional sebagai determinan terpenting dari keterikatan pegawai dengan pekerjaannya. Baik kelelahan emosional dan depersonalisasi mempunyai pengaruh yang bersifat negatif pada keterikatan pekerjaan. Menariknya bahwa ketika pegawai semakin merasa berkurang prestasi pribadinya maka hal ini tidak dapat mempengaruhi tingkat keterikatan pegawai dengan pekerjaannya. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi organisasi publik dalam upaya melakukan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dengan mempertimbangkan untuk meminimalisir aspek kelelahan kerja penting seperti kelelahan emosional dan depersonalisasi.
